I'm looking at a late 80s firebird. It was originally a v6, but it now has a v8 in it. Is it possible to use long tube headers on it? He said he used everything from a Iroc with a 350 in it...so I don't see why I shouldn't be able to run them....

 

shouldnt be a problem...anything that will work in an original v8 car should work in a convert-to-a v8 car

Hooker makes the best longtubes for these cars. You can get them coated or uncoated from www.summitracing.com. Heddman also makes 3rd gen longtubes, and they're cheaper than Hooker, but they aren't quite as high quality from what I hear.
