Ok I am getting ready to take my car in to the shop on the 7th of Dec, But they dont know if they can dyno tune the computer due to some years they dont have the software from it.

This really confused me because I know the 87 L98 Camaro was used for a few years both in the Camaro & the vette.

Are you talking about the ECM or the EPROM. Why don't you give www.fasterproms.com a try. They do a dyno tune if you want. The road is your dyno if you borrow their DIACOM stuff.

 

If they can tune an 87 Vette, then they can tune your 87 Camaro. The Vette ECMs are weather resistant since they are in the engine bay, so they have a different part number, but it's the same programming.
