Charging AC
im also looking to get my a/c working,
same when i push a/c it blows hot
i press the valve on the silver canister and gas shoots out, so it has some in it... i found a place in the local super shopper mag and called it, says you can buy 2 refills of the old system for 150$, includes the 50$ nozzle to hook it up he said. i wouldnt mind having a full charge and topping it up each summer
so what do i need to do? the local u-pick yard is closed till the 28th, at that time im going to take all the parts i need for my camaro (theres an a/c compressor i hope is still there in an 85 camaro like mine)
other than that should i get that 69$ a/c inspection i see on a local car garage in town done?

I have the same problem it just blows warmer air. I thought systems over time just kinda die out and need to be recharged. I didn't knwo if it stopped blowing cold that means there is a leak for sure.
How much are we looking at to take it to a shop and have them do everything because i dont wanna screw something up. I'm not really to educated on A/C systems. How much we looking at to get it looked at. Fix the Leak. Drain the old stuff. And get it refilled with the new stuff?
Thanks in advance
