i have an edelbrock vic jr, demon carb, k&n filter 3in tall, drop base that lowers 1 1/4 below carb flange.
no im looking at getting the Nos power shot. its says its a 1/2 plate.
think it will fit under my stock hood?
i have yet to do any measurments or anything. just waiting to see if i can get any replys here.

It should fit. I fit an NX stage 6 plate under my Demon with a 3" filter/Drop base setup. It touched the hood but closed. This was also on an RPM Air Gap intake which is a good amount taller than a Vic Jr.

If I had to guess, my NX Plate was 3/4" to 1" thick...Definately more than 1/2"

hmm ok. thanks for the info. im still gonna try and see how much room i have to play with. i dont wanna hook it all up and then close the hood and then bam!.
