Re: Car wont start.. no ignition power....

^NOBODY cut the wires. I couldn't figure out why there was no ignition power, and after much dicking around my hot-rodder friend took one look at the starter and told me that he GUARANTEE'S me that the broken starter-wire is the problem.
Tomorow I am going to work on the car with Jim. Hopefully we get it running for the first time w/ the worked 305

YOU GUYS ARE TEH ROXORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111!
There was not ONE starter wire mangled (the pink one) but there was another one that wasn't even tightened AT ALL.
Needless to say, she is cranking over now
BUT.. Jim (my friend) says it is about 180* over-advanced. The carb is litterally SPRAYING fuel out the top of it while cranking, and it looks like t-storms when I give it gas and crank it.
Ah well, that will be another day
But, just by cranking it I noticed the exhaust sounds different. Maybe it's just because I havn't gotten fuel running thru it, but the exhaust is very dry and hollow sounding, and so far I like it I just can't wait for this **** to REALLY get cranking
Thanks again everybody!!!!!!!
