My car will not start back up. I just put a new cam in. It started up the first time after a couple cranks. Had it running for a little bit then my brother said some fuel was coming out of the top of the carb so I shut it off. Checked it out then went back to start it up and nothing. It will not start back up. Any ideas? I really need to get my car running again

 

Update:

We got the car started. Had to get a jump from my bro's Iroc. Had it running for 25 minutes before a lifter starting ticking so I shut it down. Was that long enough to break the cam in? I know your supposed to go 30 minutes but I didn't want to risk anything with that lifter ticking. Fuel was still leaking from the top of the carb and the base. Guessing its time for a rebuild or new one? I noticed it backfiring a little during the break in so I will probably have to re-do the timing. Also during the break in my headers turned golden and there was smoke coming out of the exhaust. Is that because it was running rich?
