im thinking you should complain to the other drivers insurance co about horrible neck pain and threaten a lawsuit. i know someone who did it and they were quick with a settlement.

Hopefully everything gets straighted out and you get a full recovery, I personally havent been involved in an accident yet *knock of wood*, If it wasnt my fault, I dont know how I would respond to it, if im not injured... ide probably flip out on the person who caused it, once a car is wrecked its never the same, but with my '86 Camaro, I refuse to get rid of it due to sentimental attatchment. My first car/Camaro. Stickin with me through life Anyways, good to hear you werent hurt really bad.

I too do not wanna part with her. That is the whole reason I did not sell the car in favor of a 4th gen. Sure you can go buy a fast car from the lot, and everyone has one, but to build up a nice 3rd gen with your own blood sweat and tears really makes it yours!!! But we'll have to see what happens.
Thanks guys

i know how you feel man. i was just in an accident this weekend with my 88 iroc. the car in front of me rear ended the car in front of them so i slammed on my brakes but the car in back of me (which happened to be a 92 rs camaro) rear ended me and caused me to hit the car in front of me. the car that hit me was totaled but i managed to get away with some minor scratches, a small dent, and some paint chips so hopefully i will get a new front end and a new rear bumper, and maybe even some new paint! every white camaro i have, gets into an accient, i totaled my first camaro which was a white 92 rs. had full coverage so i got $5900 for it.

I can only hope that I get at least 3500, which is what I paid for the car, and maybe money to cover my neck and what not. Im not askig for the moon, but I want what I deserve. The bitch hit me doing 30mph and I was stopped???? In my book thats just not excusable.... i hope the insurance company sees it that way, I mean its her fault, she rearended me bad, and no rubber marks either, she didnt see me till she hit me, so she had to have her eyes somewhere else, other than on the road......

shouldnt their insurance be paying for your doctor bills too? [rant] I hate how these insurance companies look for the cheapest way out ... I would want OEM parts put on the car, instead of cheap flimsy aftermarket parts. Nothing can replace factory Iron! So what if it costs more.... the insurance company can always rape the **** out of the faultee's rates . You damage something, and its your fault, it shoudl be fixed the way the owner wants it to. He didnt choose for him to get run into. You messed up by not paying attention to the road. Now you must pay for your mistake. Im scared most the time when I drive in my hometown .... people constanly have their heads strategically place up their azz .... it's comin down to : you cant have something nice, without someone coming along and screwing it up for you. Angry

Seeing things like this happen to good people just burns me up.... but everything is gonna workout in the end man...oh, and if he insurance company tries to pull any **** then I'd take your boss up on that attorney offer....SCREW HER!!!!! Oh...did I miss something or did you say that you work at a body shop??? If that's the case I'm sure your boss will hook you up. Either way
best of luck and don't give up!! If nothing else buy it back for next to nothing and throw it in the yard till you get more cash to fix her and buy another one too! No such thing as to many Camaros layin' around!!!

Ya my boss is having me come into work to talk to his attorney sometime at the end of the week. I went in this morning at 7am, just started moving **** around and lifting wheels and tires and my back just started hurting. So he told me to take a few days off, unfortunately since im fairly new, that also means no pay. If it weren't for my tax return, I would be screwed. So right now im in a super tight spot. No car, little money, outa work for the week, they are slow anyway......... Man, things need to start looking up! But thanks guys
