Can't Find 383 Stroker Flywheel
Can't Find 383 Stroker Flywheel
I put a early externally balanced 383 in my 85 Iroc-z and I can't find the flywheel I need for it. I have the original 400 damper on it. But the original 11" flywheel won't fit in the T-5 Bellhousing. I have the 10.5 " flywheel from the car, but it's not balanced. Does anyone know where I can get an 10.5 " externally balanced flywheel?

From the WEB site:
FOOTNOTE LEGEND:
1 - All Centerforce counter balanced flywheels are rough balanced. We do not recommend aluminum flywheels for street applications. SOME ALUMINUM FLYWHEELS ARE SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS, PLEASE CALL FOR AVAILABILITY.
Anytime you change to a different flywheel on an externally balanced engine assem. you have to have the assem. rebalanced.
