Can I change to an out of tank Fuel Pump?

Does anyone know how to change to an out of tank fuel pump so I dont have to go thru the hell of changing my in tank one. If not please respond to my other thread and tell me how to change it easy with the in tank one.

unless you need to i would not recomend using an external pump. It's expensive and a pain in the butt. I did it on mine. but make sure you get the fitting welded into the tank if you go external. Or you will be wondering where the gas leak keeps coming from. dropped my tank 4 times this year. NOt fun.
I would reccomend staying internal though. You can support around 500-600 hp without needing to change the lines.

Even if you go to the external one, you would still have to remove your in-tank one. My 91 is still using the stock pump so it does last. At some point I will be changing to the Walbro one just to be safe.
