A/C Clutch Swap

I want to finally replace my a/c compressor since it is starting to be 120 again. My father in law had an old compressor that he had taken off his buddy's car and it will probably work, but it has a different clutch on it. I have the serpentine setup and the clutch needs to be switched, but we couldn't figure out a way to do it. Has anyone done this? It has to be possible, and it would be much cheaper than buying a new one if it works. Thanks.

i've replace the clutch on a v6 compressor. you have to use a puller and pull the clutch off and then reinstall the new clutch. its wasn't difficult but be careful not to damage the new clutch while getting it to seat onto the compressor. it has to be in the right position so it will catch when you turn the ac on.
