1990 5.7 camaro. Well shes finally legal got it to pass an emission test today and my new toy is on the road. When i was actually driving a bit today and giving it a bit of gas and noticed a few weird things happening. First of all i had been driving the thing for a little bit so it was all warmed up...I'm sitting in a parking lot and i see this mustang up at the stop lights on the corner. Just to see if i get a reaction i start reving the engine and i rev it up pretty good and when i let off the gas the rpm's dropped off and the car stalled? Also when its warm at a stop light it idles around 550-600 rpm's is this normal for a 5.7 it feel like its struggling a little bit to stay on when its that low. Other problems...when the car hits an exact rpm i think some where around 2500 i hear a little bit of a whizzing sound coming from the back end? ALSO (last one i promise) when i hammer the throttle when it gets around 4200 rpms i get this massive and noisy vibration coming from the front half of my car not sure if its the dash or infront of that might even be from under the shifter but its a weird noise it comes on for about half a second off for a split second on for half second off for a split second etc. I have no idea what that stuff is but hopefully ill get some of it figured out tommorow. Stalling problm sounds like your IAC motor.

Loud noise? Prolly driveshaft vibration o somthing to do with you ranny mount.
