I currently own a 1984 firebird that i plan to drop a 455 in. does anyone know where i might be able to find a TPI manifold for this swap without having to have a one off piece made?maybe a manifold that can be modified for this purpose? i know this sounds like a wierd request, but at least itll be unique

 

You want to drop in a 455 Poncho motor? Or do you mean a 454 Chev?
You won't find much stuff for the Poncho.

 

A TPI intake for a 455?!? That's definitely going to be a one-off piece...

 

TPI is a small block and a 455 is a big block...its not gonna work w/o MAJOR MODIFICATION.

 

good luck getting a TPI intake to flow well enough for a 455 anyway...GM designed it for the 305....even the best of TPI intakes wouldnt flow enough

look into holly for efi on a bigblock. im sure they have something.

 

personally, i would look into getting an intake retro fitted for injectors and fuel rails if ya really wanna keep it EFI
