best sound and looks for cat-back
If you're running a 406 in a nice Trans Am, just do it right the first time and put in the GMMG. After I put it in, I got WAY more glances while pulling into car shows. People mouthing the words "holy ____" as I rumble by. Video cameras can't really capture how deep the tone is. When somebody pulls your car into a shop to change the tires, change the oil, whatever, it makes a completely dominating sound. The Flowmaster was close. It was loud. But the GMMG is more ground shaking.

$800 is a bargain for this exhaust. I wound up spending $1500 for the catback and the catalytic converter. That was shipped, taxed, installed. Getting this stuff to Canada was not cheap even with the group purchase and getting it shipped with my own shipping company rather than UPS. I saved about $250 on the shipping alone.
For you, being in the US, you get free shipping, no sales tax, no exchange rate.

I used to have a flowmaster 80 on my RS, but I changed over to the Edelbrock RPM.

Now that I have an L98 instead of the LO3, and the sound is even more killer, I just dont have my brothers camera anymore to take another sound clip.
