annoying misfire. can anyone help?

my winter beater car is a 92 camaro rs, with an automatic and a 305(tbi). the other night i was driving and it was running fantastic, but it was less then 20 degrees out and the motor never passed 150 degrees. on most days, the motor reaches about 180 degrees, the service engine light comes on, and it begins to run ****ty. it misfires, and hesitates, sometimes almost enough that i think the engine will stall. it feels horrible. since it seems heat related i think its something electrical that is messing up when it gets hot. does anyone have any suggestions or has had this happen to them?

can you get your hands on a scanner? look at the ECT reading

also, failing ICMs and coils can be heat sensitive as well
