Question best cam for my 3rd gen

what would be the best cam to throw in my 3rd gen i want a pretty lumpy one that sounds good!!

what motor does it have 5.7 or 5.0? i;m building a 5.7 and am going with the LT4 hot cam kit

What kind of motor do you have? If you want sound, get exhaust.

like stealth said get some exhaust thatll give you the grunt you want but if youre talking about a lopey idle that makes your car sound MEAN then find some 290* duration .5xx lift cam thatll do it for sure.

oh yeah i head that s cam out of an llt1 will give ya pretty good improved performance has anybody ever done this?

yea man its been done and yea itll help a bunch b/c the stock LT1 cam ha .480 lift or somethin, i forget the duration, and im sure it wont be hard to pick one up cheap just gotta make sure its not too "used"
