BBK TPI intake

Anyone been keeping an eye on this over the last couple of years?

http://bbkperformance.com/news_item.php?nak=23

Looks like it would keep the low end torque that I love and extend the top end a bit. Any opinions?

Pretty cool. Glad to see that shops are still making stuff for TPI equipped cars.

It has the potential to do what you say. We will have to wait and see the product.

I think the Accell Mini Ram is the most effective TPI system. I'd really like to see how it compares to that.

I'm using the stock plenum with a Vortec Scoggin Dickey TPI intake and SLP runners.

I'm looking to upgrade fairly soon. My Vortec crate install has at least 130 more HP than stock.

Looks like a sweet setup. Little more pricey that a stealth ram but I wonder if that one has EGR provisions on it?

That thing should make some serious power w/ forced induction w/ those medium length runners.

The whole reason people are interested in the BBK is because of the egr provisions...totally emission legal..... when first talked about by bbk they said it would run @ $399.... years and years later the price has obviously gone up and I dont even think its in full production phase yet..... theres a thread on thirdgen that got started in 2004 about this intake.

Not quite. I am interested because its specifically designed for our cars and I don't have to cut the hood braces to get it to fit. Of course the emissions does play into that.....for those that have to worry.

From what Ive read the only intake you have to cut the hood for is the HSR and thats only on firebirds....they fit under camaros without any modifacation.
