Banks twin turbo kits
Just thought you 3rd gen guys may want to know about this also!..They will have kits avail for your vehicle's as well!
Twin Turbos are Back?..Guys,This was taken directly off of Gale Banks' website..It is under their Friday night news section about what is coming out soon..They will have different variations for specific vehicle's and many are doing final testing now!..There is a lot of pics of the units on the engine dynos...Just an fyi for everyone interested!..Looks like finally the wait is about over and someone actually did something instead of just talking about it!
The new Banks twin turbo setup looks pretty much like the old Banks twin turbo setup (though this is strictly a prototype), but the big difference is that it's blowing into electronic fuel injection, not a four-barrel carburetor. Note the high-tech breather system from the valve covers to Clorox bottle (the guys in the dyno room wanted me to point this out). But this is all tentative at this point. The big news is that we have a twin turbo V8 engine up and running, as of yesterday, with electronic fuel injection. They're making horsepower, and everything worked properly. But that's just the threshold. We're just getting started (again). Gale is talking engine packages with power numbers in four figures. But we can't say anything specific yet. This is just a hint of what's to come. Watch this space for updates as they happen.
