Angry Bad valve seals,does lucas stop the bleeding

84Z28.....Sometimes when I start it ,I get puffs of white smoke....Im pretty sure its the valve seals...Does that lucas oil treatment work?.........Man I cant afford this crap right now,I will give anything a shot.......Let me know what ya think...THANKS

Just change the valve seals. They are cheap. You can do it with the heads on the car in an afternoon. No sense trying to patch a problem when you can fix one. You will need an air compressor, an air fitting for a spark plug hole in your head(use an old spark plug tapped to recieve an air fitting) and a valve spring compressor. If you can turn a wrench, you can do this.

Lucas might make the oil thicker and "solve" the problem but it will return. Just change the seals and have done with it. STP does the same thing. Just look how thick the stuff is.,
