carb to injected??
is it stock or aftermarket carb? i love carbs so you know what im gonna say...owned both FI and carb. if your going for cheap easy power = stay carb. going for gas milage and a little bit more dependable = FI. don't get me wrong i like FI, i just find is easier and cheaper to produce power with carbs.
YES! that stock intake is restrictive compared to a holly or edlebrock intake. you might want to up the carb to a 650 also, depending on the rest of your setup. best thing about carbs is you can do big cams and other mods and not have to worry about ECU programming after
I ran a Performer RPM 7101 Dual Plane Hi-rise intake on my setup and it was great. No need to go to a 650, 600 is is fine.
I went with FI because it looks cooler, that is the main reason I did the carb to tpi swap.

you swapped to FI because it looked better? dang... i still say get the 650 with a highrise manifold. i dont know why you wouldn't want to up your carb to a 650. its a good base carb that leaves room for future mods. don't up the carb if you have a mild engine though. going to big could cause you to lose power
