APFR setting question????

Recently I was at the track for a little T&T and I was running low 14's with bad 60 ft times, but anyway I checked my APFR gauge and it was at 55psi when I disconnected the vacum line. My question is this setting to high and could I see more power if I set it lower and to what?

If your running a lightly modified or stock engine, you don't need 55 psi. It won't hurt anything but it does make your pump work harder. I'd set back to a max of 50 psi and leave it alone.

I made some comments here: http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=114405

Also, I'd go back to stock and then work your way up. Remember, you have 24 pph injectors when the stock is set up for 22 pph. You are already running richer unless you have done something to the EPROM we don't know about.
