Anyone using remote starter solenoid????

Just bought a new Delco starter for an LT1. Wondering if I could put a remote solenoid on this to keep down on hot starts. How would I hook this up on existing starter solenoid?? Anybody using one of these???

I'm sorry but that is total BS!! You still need the solenoid on the starter to pull the gear drive out to the flywheel, so that when the starter spins it turns the motor over, all this tut does is add another solenoid inline, it will not fix a hot start problem, it will give you a remote starter point but that is all!!

If you have a hot start problem go to a local car starter and alternator rebuilder and get them to build a heavy duty starter for you or call Jegs or Summit and get a starter blanket to keep the heat off it.

These things I know because I'm in the car repair bussiness and a personal friend of mine that I go hunting and fishing with has a bussiness as well, Starters and Alternators, needless to say I have a custom 145 amp alternator from a Caddy or GMC, and a starter that looks like it belongs on a MACK truck, but everytime I hit the key it cranks, and I don't run a heatsheild on it or my headers.
