Post Anyone ever hear of S&W racecars or own any of there stuff??

My car club has started a GP on all of S&W racecars suspension stuff... but I dont know anything about there company or there products. Spohn sells there roll cages I see, but what about there SFCs? They look wicked and I've never seen any SFCs like them period. Does anyone have any of there stuff? There webpage is http://www.swracecars.com/f-body.html and the post is here: http://www.mnfbody.com/cgi-bin/ultim...c&f=1&t=001236

what do you guys think about these prices is it worth it?? I guess they have the same components for 4th gens to?! Does anyone have those. I just dont want to go and by something I know nothing about ya know?

Please post if you can shed some light on this.

Thanks, Mike

Thumbs up

I have the S+W Racecars sbc's they are the best fitting and best engineered sfc out there. They were a little tough to install, nothing outrageous but they required some pulling to get the tranny cross-member bolt holes to line up. The quality on my set was outstanding, black powder coated a mile thick so they will last a long time. They say it clears stock exhaust and it does! I will be getting their torque arm set-up also. I was very pleased with the quality of the sfc and there fit and that is why I will be ordering from them again!

Sweet thats the part I was planning on getting. Hey if you want that torque arm still you can jump in on this GP as well... I think they still need a few more people for the 15% discount. Each part you order is considered an order so we only need 6 for the 15% off. Yea that info you gave me makes my day, I wasnt sure about there stuff since I've never heard of them before and 349 bucks before the discount for a set of SFCs is quite a investment.

I bought their 10 point roll cage. The other cages I seen the a-pillar bars go in front of the dash and I wanted mine to got into and behind the dash and S&W had that for me.. I like the product I recieved from them shipping was quick, the instructions were clear..

I've got their 10 point cage (now it's only an 8 pt bar). It fits great. The main hoop especially, but it is a cope/cut to fit.
