Just seeing if any other thirdgenners are stuck in this state too. If so, know any good mechanics? Mines more of a ford guy:-)

Well, it's running kinda funny right now. It surges, and when I'm cruising on the freeway it does it just barely. I've checked for a vacuum leak, and I couldn't find one. The other thing might be timing, but I can't really advance it much right now because then it gets super hot, especially with the heat we've been having lately. I was begining to think I was the only third genner from utah that comes to this board:-)

Well DUH! Of course I've seen you around So when are you gonna stick a supercharger on that bad boy of yours? I guess you should get the tranny fixed first, eh?

Yeah. A functional tranny is a good thing. Don't think i'm gunna supercharge it just yet though...someone has to pay me back first.
Gunna have body work done and new paint job on it by the end of the summer, hopefully
