It might be running rich. CO is an indication that there isn't enough oxygen to complete the burn process. (i.e. running rich). It could also be an indication of weak spark, or retarded timing.
It's good to hear that the IAC did the job. If your fans are continuing to run, you should look at the fan relays. One of them might be shorted. Since your car's relays are al the same, you can simply swap the wires from one relay to the next. If the problem persists, then it's not the relay. If the problem moves, (i.e. to fuel pump), then the problem is probably the relay.

well could it also be valve lash? because im hearing something that sounds like detonation according to my bud. but timing is good.
