How do I wire a Air/Fuel ratio gauge. Black goes to ground, 12v power to ignition/headlights, now the blue wire I think it goes to the o2 sensor, do I just attach it right to the wire coming out of the sensor in the header? Please help?

 

i hooded it up to the purple wire off the ecm..

 

Follow the wire coming out of the sensor. Do not splice it to that wire that comes out of the sensor though. That wire is solid core. Any part of the wire after the clip will work fine.

 

you shouldn't have any wires going outside of the passenger compartment.

 

I ran the purple wire with the ECM wiring harness, into the engine compartment and spliced it into the O2 sensor wiring harness AFTER the weatherpack connector.

Works just fine, make sure you have a solid connection. I soldered mine, then heat shrinked it and put it back into the loom.

You can do it either way. If you can track down the O2 signal wire at the ECM then you can splice into it and not have to run the wire through the firewall. You can also splice into the signal wire at the O2 harness connector and it will work just fine.

 

hey, does anyone know where i can get the oil and all the toher dials that go up the left hand side of the frame rail? like alot of sports cars have them for like a style.. was just wondering if anyone knows a website or anything
