AFPR going in, question about fuel pressure
AFPR going in, question about fuel pressure
for best performance, where should i set the fuel pressure at? i heard 45 psi from some people, but i wanted to get some more opinions. i want to get the best performance from this at WOT, thanks guys
Fuel Pressure is like Timing really. Every car has different needs and optimum performance has to be found by testing and tuning. Choosing a dyno or a track is up to you and so is a good way of recording data, etc to track performance as a whole. Starting where you're already at is the way to go. If it's 45 PSI, that should be cool. Stock was usually from 38-45 I think. Adding 2 PSI to see if there is a gain or loss, dropping 2 psi to see if there is a gain or loss, dropping 2 more, adding 2 more, 4 more, 10 more. Same goes for timing. Try 6 degrees, then 7, then 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, etc. Goodluck. Taking your time to do all of this WILL pay off. No car is spot on after 10-20 years of service and tinkering.
