Fuel Pressure is like Timing really. Every car has different needs and optimum performance has to be found by testing and tuning. Choosing a dyno or a track is up to you and so is a good way of recording data, etc to track performance as a whole. Starting where you're already at is the way to go. If it's 45 PSI, that should be cool. Stock was usually from 38-45 I think. Adding 2 PSI to see if there is a gain or loss, dropping 2 psi to see if there is a gain or loss, dropping 2 more, adding 2 more, 4 more, 10 more. Same goes for timing. Try 6 degrees, then 7, then 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, etc. Goodluck. Taking your time to do all of this WILL pay off. No car is spot on after 10-20 years of service and tinkering.
