Question 97 LT! into a 89 bird

can anyone give me info on where i can find info or tell me how hard it would be and how and what i need to put a lt1 into a 3rd gen ive been searching everywhere and no luck yet

there is info all over on this swap....i heard its actually a very easy swap...you just need the motor, wiring harness, computer, and tranny, and the rest is pretty simple i heard....i guess you use the factory motor mounts and whatnot...i know there is a lot more people here that know tons more than me on this swap, but do a search on it, and you are bound to come up with something....

It's fairly simple really. With a custom harness, you can do the whole swap in a weekend.
One day to pull the old stuff and one day to install the LT1.

I keep hearing about how much info there is on the swap. I've found some info, not not as much as most people says there is. I thought several people would have written detailed installation guides, but I have yet to find one that addresses all the issues and EXACTLY how to deal with them. Even thirdgen.org does not have it.

Thats why I'm working on one. Parts of it are already up, going to finish it up after finals next week.
