Post Bird crap ruined my finish

Bird crap was left on the hood of my car for 2 to 3 days. When i found it i wiped it off and then waxed really well. I can still see where the bird crap was on the hood - there is no discoloring, it just seems like it ate a way a layer of paint. Is there any way to fix this?

Try some 3M Swirl Remover, or a very mild rubbing compound.

I had a section on my roof that was hit by an ignorant sparrow (probably sparrow). Anyways I used some 3M Swirl Remover and it made it much less visible, did not remove it, but made it less apparent.

P.S. It took some elbow grease.

Jeff

I would try a clay bar. I had some crap, some sap, and stuff I couldn't identify on my Z. Clay bar cook it all off. I followed it up with some wax and I can't even see where it was.
