Did anyone see the 91 1LE on last night. It went for $40K.
78 original miles, original window sticker price $17,500. It was said to be a 305/245HP 5 speed. There was probably a mix up on the HP. 245 would be the 5.7. The car looked new!

 

Wow... thats a lot of money for that car. Dont get me wrong, I have a third gen myself and love it. Think you could dig up any pics?

It's not listed on the barrett-jackson.com web site yet. All I have in the VHS tape I recorded it on. I could probably record it to DVD and then maybe email it.

i know this is probably pointless to post in a 3rd gen forum but there is a 93'
1LE 6 speed here in shawnee oklahoma with 40 original miles and has never been regestered, MINT condition. oh yeah asking price is $40,000

 

I watched the tape again. It's shows in the pop up as a 305/245hp 4 speed trans. The anoucers say it's a 350 automatic radio delete. When I first watched it, I was thinking manual trans which would have been the 305. My mistake, must be the 350. The other 1LE's listed on barret jackson are from the previous year(s). Not 2006.

Dang, lots of money...but for a very nice car that's for sure.

 

What I want to know, is how can you buy a car like that and never drive it? Unless you had enough money to get two, one as a driver, and the other for show...
