MY BROTHER ATTEMPTED TO SWAP A 91 DASH INTO AN 85 IROC,AND I'M QUITE SURE HE RAN INTO SOME PROBLEMS,I'M NOT POSITIVE BUT I THINK RIGHT AROUND 91-92 THEY SWITCHED TO A ELECTRONIC SPEEDO INSTEAD OF A CABLE DRIVEN SPEEDO,,,,,,NOT 100 PERCENT BUT WORTH CHECKING INTO

Go over to the reader's rides and then the 90 Camaros. There is a guy on the first page that has pic's of the swap. He did the dash and console swap from a 4th gen. From the pic's it is not something I am going to try. Looked like way to much work for me. I would rather do a engine swap that get in that wiring mess. As you can tell electrical is not my thing.

It is not a direct bolt in. The physical differences are in the brackets on the sides where they are spot welded. If you cut the brackets off of a 91-92 and test screw them into the A pillar, test fit the new dash, you could then weld the brackets in place. You would need all the other cross bracketry from the 91-92, the upper pad mounts the same, and as far as electrically, that is not a direct swap either. I learned the hard way. The lower dash looks like the same but with rounded edges but it is not the same.
