did a tune up on my camaro today. its producing some strange noise that it didnt have before. comes from back of engine and sounds like a clicking sound. when you remove a wire from the distrub it gets more rapid. anybody have any idea what might be? car did not produce noise before i did the tune up (plugs, wires, rotor, cap). could it be a defective cap? any help would be great.

 

Put your hand on the plastic part of the cap why it's running (carefully) and see if you feel anything. Rotor maybe hittng the cap? Or the cap may not be sitting down correctly on the distubutor. You may have cracked insulation on a plug wire or boot, are the wires new? Take a spray bottle of water and spray water on the cap, see if it runs rough or you see a spark jumping?
