89 camaro rs with a 305 tbi dies at stop signs

My 89 camaro rs has just had a jasper rebuild put in it and it died several times at stop signs. when stopping the brakes start to get tight and the rpm's drop under 500 and it dies. anyone know what could be wrong?

have you try testing brake boster,cheaking fuel pump,cat. hopes that helps

Hows it driving otherwise? If you added some hp you'll want to up your fuel pressure. After I rebuilt mine I couldnt keep it running with the stock pressure.
