What rear end ??
Hey everyone ,
I have a stock 91 rs camaro , only mods are a new 350 engine dropped in it , and flowmaster , and a k&N fliter. In about a month i want to put a lot of money into my car when i get it
I have heard from many people that the rear end is the way to go for the first mod. What rear end is the best , and whats the price ? thanks

I got a rear end out of a 99 Z28 with 3.42 gears for $325 shipped.
If you dont want to hassle with switching over the brakes you can get an SLP Posi unit for $99, a good set of 3.42 or 3.73 gears (used ~$100, new $200), and get them installed for about $125. I think that would be the route I would have went if I had to do it over again.

Not necessarily. I cound see spending money on inakes and headers. If you want to do the rear end, you could get an Auburn Pro Series Posi and Richmond 3.73 gears with a good strong cover. One that puts preload on the caps. That way, you won't get carrier walk.
