i need help with my 88 iroc it is not starting, it doesnt even attempt to start its like the battery is dead but its shows a full charge on my charger, any help! please, fast

 

If it is not turning over and you have a full charge, check the starter. Rap it a little and see if it helps. If it does, you need a new starter. Also, make sure the contacts are clean. There is a wire going to the starter that is purple, not to be confused witht he battery cable. When you turn the key, you should get 12V at that point. Make sure you do. If you do, then it is either the starter or bad positive cable.

 

Lookm at the dash and see if the Security light stays on. If it does your VATS system has gone out and you need to either take it to a dealer and have $300ish worth of deaer only parts put on OR, you're gonna have to disable it manually.
