We just put a 350 from a '88 caprice cop car in a '86 bird. Does anyone know the specs on the 350? ive been trying to find the horsepower and torque on this puter for hours now. thanksa for any info.

 

I am thinking back to my dad's 89 GMC 1/4 ton xtra cab...It had the 215 hp TBI 350......I am speculating that your 350 might be the same!!!! http://www.nhra.com/tech_specs/engine/ might help you out also!!!!

Is there any way to find out what car my block came out of by the stamps on it? I know it's a 70-76 2 Bolt Main 350.....can I use the stamps on the block to find out it's original application?

 

Go to www.gmfleet.com and send them an email. They built most of the law enforcement cars. They dont do all the mods though. So i'm not sure if they put the 350 in. I had an 88' caprice interceptor and the rpos didnt match what the car had.
