86 2 lt1

in 1 year i'll be out of college and beginning my project, one of which is 2 convert my 86 Z28 305 w/ carb 2 an lt1 with fuel injection i know i'll need a new computer and wiringharness 2 do this but is there anything else i can have 2 do.... or watch out for?

Other than that, all you have TO watch out for is if you'll be running a/c, in which you have to notch the K-member. The wiring harness off of an LT1 car won't be a bolt-in either. You'll have to do some splicing and cutting or call Speartech or Painless.

It's a very easy conversion as long as u are mechanicly incline. I have done hunders of them Istarted doing them in the mid 90's. The only thing you are going to have 2 spend time on is the wiring it can be challening if you have never done them before. Have fun and good luckwith ur project.

thanks, it'll be about a year (after i get out of nashville auto-diesel college.
