Hey guys, I'm converting my 1990 5.0 A/T to a 5speed out of a 92 firechicken, can I use the same driveshaft? Or is the 5speed shaft longer?

Oh ya... also... if anyone has a console shifter plate for a 5spd they want to get rid of, please let me know.

 

You can use the driveshaft, they are the same for the autos and 5 speed.

 

Are the yokes the same too?

you need to be creative with ebay searches. I've found them under "camaro shift plate" "camaro shifter plate" "camaro console" and a few others. Just get creative in your search, and look at the titles of the auctions when you do find them. You can get more search ideas from the auction titles of the ones you find.
