please don't do this.....4th gen stuff is very curvy and third gens are all about straight lines.....it just doesn't mix man

yea iw ast hinkign abotu that too...i'll get my hands on a 3rd and 4th gen firebird spoiler and see how they look...it was just an idea that i thought would be different.....i got an idea with my taillights, i'm going to mold the blackouts into the body, and make my taillights look more like 3rd gen trans am taillights, so I thought it would look good with a trans am spoiler on there..and I love the looks of trans am, and they are basicially the same backs of camaro's..i'll see what happens...it looks kinda cool without a spoiler too...i'll look into it this winter..

if you go with a 3rd gen spoiler, go for the aerowing (GTA style) IMO it looks a ton better. good luck finding one, also if you do get one, make sure it is fiberglass and not the stock rubber-wrapped aluminum one....they crack

is the spoiler going to fit on my camaro near perferct? I found the GTA one for 350 and I dont' want to buy it, and then have it not fit at all...I think it would look sweet, but if its going to be a whole lot of work I don't want to get it...I don't see why it wouldn't fit, the hatches on each car looks identical, can anybody verify this??

Have you seen that 3rd gen firebird with a 4th gen nose (not sure if its real or a photoshop) the thing looks sweet.

it should fit, just take some measurements or take it up to a local body shop and have them take a look at it

I remember that someone was selling a white 3rd gen T/A on here a few months ago and he had a 4th gen spoiler on it. It looked pretty sweet, I think his name was jim85iroc or something like that. So yes it has been done before and it is possible.

alright i got some pics over at 3rdgen.org, and it didn't look as i thought it would....it looks alright from the back if you did some taillight work like i'm doing, but when you mix it in with the front of the car, it just doesn't match the styling...but one more request, does anybody have any pics off hand of a camaro without any kind of spoiler?

To put the wrap around spoiler on the Camaro hatch requires the TA or Formula trim "ring" that the window mounts in. Otherwise you won't have the front mounting points for the "arms" that come forward. I had a Formula ('89) that had the rear window broken. I bought a camaro hatch and found that my wing wouldn't fit because the mounts were missing in the front.
