Post 4th Gen Seats in a 3rd Gen?

I found a set of perfect seats from a 98 Firebird for only 100 bucks (thats front AND back) and I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not these would bolt up, or it id have to do some sfro engineering?

Please help me! lol

Yes, they are a direct bolt in.

Do a search of this board and you will see numerous threads about this.

Been done a thousand times. It's a 10 minute swap. The 4th gen seats are a direct swap for the thirdgen seats.

I have 4th gen seats in my 87 Iroc. And I had them in my 88 Iroc as well. Direct replacement. The only difference was the connector for the power seat. A little cut and splice, no biggie.
Oh and my 87 originally had 2 peice folding rear seats. My 88 and my 94 have one peice rear seat back. The only difference is a little dowel on the driveshaft hump. You can either remove it or leave it, the seat fits either way.
