3rd gen vs 4th gen
Search, search, search...
Everything in the rear except the springs are interchangeable - shocks, LCAs, sway bars, torque arm, panhard... even the entire rear axle. The front ends are completely different and nothing swaps over without major fabrication.

Rear housing and axles are about 2" wider per side.

And the 4th gen rear is 3" wider than the 3rd gen. The 4" wider thing is a big misconception around here. I measured my 85 rear and the 02 rear I put in - exactly 3" difference. My rear tires also tuck in a little further than they used to.
