Well tonight i was coming home from some races...when exiting one highway to get on another highway i missed the exit but being a little tired tried to go anyway
ended up hitting a sign and ****ing my whole **** up
repairable? maybe...the engine was fine
all 4 rims were fine, one window broke, convert top was ****ed
windshield was fine
the whole front left of the car was ****ed, fender, lights hood
i dunno if its repairable but if it is i will be psyched...
i just kinda feel like an idiot....but i guess theres a reason they call it an accident....

Insurance coverage?

The front of the car is probably cheaper than the rear of the car damage wise...Convertible stuff I'm not even sure if it can be replaced honestly Goodluck! At least you're not hurt, ya know?

 

Is the rear quarter panels damaged? Those are a pain to switch. I went through repairing my Z a few months ago, a front fender is like $75 new, a bumper is like $180, rear is like $150, convertible tops will be difficult though becuase they are rarer. Getting a new door hould be easy, probably $100-$150 used.

 

the doors and rear quarter panels are all fine, its just the fenders and hood, but the front of the subframe is like all crushed in one the front left, like metal actually tore...so i dunno...im buying a ****ing jetta

It's all good man. I understand how bummed out you must be youre not in the greatest situation. I dont know how this is supposed to help you out but i bet before you know it youll have her all fixed up and be back out rolling with the big dogs.

 

I know how you feel dude, I went through the same thing 2 weeks ago. The body shop told me it would be at least $2500 to fix IF the frame wasnt bent! So I decided to part her out. I managed to get a nice 4th gen for $2000 and Im gonna sell that when the title gets in for about $3500 and then Ill be in the market for another 3rd gen. I am currently owning my 5th camaro. #6 here I come!
