I am looking to put an Edlebrock intake and Holley 650 on my 305. Any advice or issuse I need to be aware of? Also will 350 heads work on a 305?

just be sure to take the cap off the distributor and mark where the rotor is pointing to be sure u get it back in the right spot.

yes 350 heads can go on a 305,but it will drop the compression and prob. run like ****.

Yes, DON'T DO IT!!!!!!

It will provide nothing over what you already have. Go here and read the tech articles on tuning your QJet. http://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/

It is a GREAT street carb and your stock intake manifold is certainly good enough until you replace your current exhaust (headers all the way to the tailpipe), heads and cam--in that order.

For the best deal on heads just port and polish your current ones! Follow the link at the end of my sig.

 

What part should I not do? Carb or intake or both??

What about some headers? What would you recommend?

I read the article on the Quadrajet and made some adjustments and seems to run a little bettter....thanks

If i decide not to put the intake and Holley on I'll sell it and make some money. lol
