I think it would be funny to see. Not very feasible, but funny to see.

Well, at least your not yanking out an lt1 for the 305

Putting in a 305 TPI in the v6 car might make it slower

Just get an LT1. The TPI distributor will require mods to the firewall.....

The only time I've heard on someone doing this was because they were building an SCCA American Sedan race car which has a 5 liter limit.

Do yourself a favor and just get an LT1 and forget about doing a typical SBC in a 4th gen. I could only imagine the grief you'd be facing the first time you went to change your dist. cap. Not to mention, you'd need to modify the firewall to make it fit in the first place. Besides, a LT1 outpowers any factory tpi engine made.

that depends on the 305 you put in it...the G92 LB9 was 230hp and 300 ft pounds..this was with the 5 speed with the L98 cam and 3.42 gears

mine ran 14.12@96 with minimal mods...but i also drove the **** out of it..a stock LT1 will trap 99-101

Nope. I dont think it would be a good idea due to the clearance issues. You probably wouldn't be able to close your hood, you wouldn't be emissions legal, and the wiring issues would be trouble.

Best plan is to plop in an LT1 which would probably be about the same amount of money, and a whole lot less labor.

It doesnt work. The TPI intake & distributor will not fit under the cowl of the 4th gen. I know because someone I know tried it.
