for the speedo to work, you need speedo gears (can be found on 700r4.com)
yea, your carrier is series 2 and you could get another carrier but why waste the money if you already have posi?
just make sure the gears are series 2 and get an installation kit- ranges from i think 20$ to like 120$- 120 builds up like the whole rear end to "new" like condition
