Thanks! it's just a street car... haha Lots of upgrades this year, motor should be done and installed this week, can't friggin wait..

You won't notice a 3000 stall converter while driving. You only notice it when you go full throttle. I drive with a 4500 stall and used to drive a 5000 stall around. You could actually accelerate into moving traffic without going over 2500 rpm, my 4500 is even tighter but it's fun to snap the throttle while cruising.. it revs fast and gets attention when you're looking for it.

I now have and have had good luck with Precision Industries Vigilante converters. I would trust Yank Converters also.

Stalls are the opposite of irritating.

ok i'll look more into a stall. but if im not in the 12's by end of summer im just going to dump a hundred shot of nitrous into it.

im going to take it to the track in about 2 weeks and i'll let you guys know what i run, then i'll go from there.
