26 spline or 28 spline

On a 91 RS camaro non posi how can you tell if the rear end is a 26 or 28 spline.????? without taking the rear apart and counting teeth.

the changed to 28 splines in 89 so your 91 is derinately 28 splines

Unless someone has replaced your entire rear end with an earlier one, you have 28 splines.
