2 questions

1. i have an 86 rs with a 2.8 v6 5sp, swapping in a 350 would be too much work for what its worth, would a newer v6 vortec engine give me more power and would it be easy to swap in?
2.Does anyone have a stock exaust system from a 305, my buddy needs everything from the cat to the muffler/tips. Or anybody know where i could get one for not that expensive?
Thanks guys

Reply to your questions:
1) A swap of a 350 into a V-6 car is possible if you want to spend more money and time doing it. Better to find a V-8 car.
2) Check E-Bay, I saw a stock one on there the other day.

Do a search in the for sale section. I saw someone advertising "full stock exhaust" inthere the other day but I didnt stop in to wee what gen it was for. Maybe you will get lucky. And if you dont want to do a V-* swap you probably ownt be happy with the power gains from a vortech v-6 swap. I would advise getting the turo motor out of a TTA or T-type or something and trying your luck there.

It's difficult to swap a Vortec 4.3 in anyway, because it uses the standard SBC bellhousing pattern and motor mounts etc. It would be almost as complex as swapping in a V8.

I would not go through the hassles of installing a V8 for your V6. Its a lot of work, and there will need to be changes made in other areas to accomodate the engine. For one better front springs for the additional weight, for another a better transmission to handle the power. Then theres the exhaust, fuel system mods, cooling system, and so on.

By the time you are done spending money and scraping your knuckles with all the labour, you would have been better off and dollars ahead by selling it or trading it in at a corner car lot for an IROC or GTA with the L98.
