1989 camaro problems

Hi i have just brought a 1989 350 tpi camaro z28 iroc. And have some questions .Firstly oil pressure gauge maxs out when key on then goes even higher when running engine.Secondly i noticed relay just above battery had 1 terminal off and wondered what these relays mounted here do?Thirdly i found a single red wire on the passanger side under the exhaust manifold not connected and is wired into the factory loom where does this go looks like end has come off ? Also i want to fit extractors to car what do i have to do to disconnect emmison control that has pipes going to exhaust manifold is there a kit including belt to replace the air pump or can i just leave it in place? Any help would be awesome as im in new zealand and not that many camaros of this year in nz.Cheers.

Re: 1989 camaro problems

I have the same year and engine. On the passenger side of the exhaust there were two red wires on it. They had the same terminals but they were reversed so they couldnt get mixed up. Also, I believe the oil pressure issue might be your sending unit that is above your oil filter try unhooking it and spray some contact cleaner on the connector and try hooking it up again. That fixed my issue.
