1989 camaro

the camaro is an rs 2.8l how ever im wanting to swap in a mild 350 and a 6 speed tranny and i was just wondering what all is involved im hoping to do a tpi setup

ECM and harness change if wanting the EFI, rewiring your nuetral safty switch to the clutch. And for a 6 speed if you had an auto drilling holes in the firewall to add a slave cylinder and installing pedals. Custom crossmember or spohn unit and different torque arm from what I've heard. Cutting a hole in your tunnel for the shifter. Electronic speedo or aftermarket mechanical speedo/ T-56 housing to drive your stock guage.

Just a couple of things to get you started with what your planning on doing.

its a 5 sp so that part is all good and as far as gauges go im wantin to put some in dash auto meter gauges on all mechanical and probchange the diff and rear susp a 4link would b sweet as well as like 3.73's ish dependin on the gearing of the tranny i havnt looked at that yet i no that with a 700r4 its best 2 have 3.73 or 4.11's

Your best bet is to get a TPI donor car for all parts you will need. Otherwise its gone to be a expensive swap using a V-6 car.
