i mean make a complete new piece out of metal. use the base of the exsisting dam for mounting hole measurement. as for leaning it forward, i mean the metal one. you can pull it forward a bit vs the stock "nearly stright down" method and get a better dig to get more air.

Yea, but if i get a medal one i take the chance of bending or scraping a part of the car if i do hit something. Acrylic will just break off and all ide have to do is cut another cheap piece. Im planning on doing it tomorrow and ill take pictures to show it and let me know what you think. Im gonna atleast try and make it look like its supposed to be there

I've seen air dams made out of anything rigid, practically. Scrap sheet metal, aluminum, plastic, lots of different options.

Word of advice, though. The air damn provides better airflow at highway speeds. So if the engine overheats in slow traffic or driveway, you still have another cooling problem in the system.

unless they moved it, you should find it between the # 6 & 8 cyls on the pass side between the exhaut ports.

Thanks. I beleive I found it. Theres two plugs that look alike by the 6 & 8 spark plugs but im unsure of which one. Theres one rite above the two spark plugs and then theres one below them. Im gonna try and upload photos but its hard to see the one above the spark plugs. Also am I going to have to cut the wire and connect it to the new one i have?

the one that is lower in the block is your knock sensor. the upper is the fan switch. if they are anything like the plugs on my formula then dont get them crossed up. if you do your knock wont work and your fans wont come on.

if you do just swap them around.

Yea, ive seen people talking about that. The new wire connection has two plugs the one that plugs into the engine and the other I have no clue where it goes. The wire thats already there is alot longer and goes into a wire cover or what ever its called. The plastic tube that help minimize clutter. I put the thermostat in and swap the antifreeze to distilled water and have been mimicking the new fan switch on and off. It was running real good at about 160 so im hoping this fan switch will solve my problem
